The 24 Hour Philly Photo Project

This summer, I’m going to be doing a 24 Hour Photo Project, where I photograph 24 hours in Philly. This is going to be people, places, and events happening in Philadelphia, all during a 24 hour period, ending with one photo to represent each hour of the day.

This is going to be both a creative and a physical challenge. Certainly I can just dash around Philadelphia taking photos, but I want to capture as much of the city as I can, in both big and personal ways. I want to photograph on the tops of buildings, in parks and during events. I want to photograph before sunrise. I want to photograph the lights on the river at night. I want to carry my camera with me in bars and libraries.

Also, I’ll need to stay awake for 24 hours. So, that will be a challenge. Maybe I can bring some people with me at towards the end, to make sure I stay upright.

So, 24 hours in Philly. Where do you think I should go? What do you think I should do? What shouldn’t I miss? What do you want to see?
